Almost everyone is suffering under the weight of this fuel crisis. One way to avoid pain at the pump is to trade-in your gas guzzler and buy an electric vehicle.
We’ve been lucky enough to secure limited late-model EV stock across our branches. Take your pick from a Hyundai Ioniq, Hyundia Kona EV, Tesla Model Y or Tesla Model 3. With sharp pricing, no on-road costs and weekly payments from just $211*, buying an EV is a no-brainer..
The Hyundai Kona is a top-notch EV if you’re looking to make the switch. One of this vehicles most rated features is its impressive range. The Hyundai Kona EV’s battery life is over 400kms – in just one charge. With all the best safety and tech upgrades – like 360 degree cameras, driver assist, and wireless smartphone integration – you’ll be driving in style.
Here’s some of the common questions our customers ask about the Kona:
What is the Hyundai Kona EV’s towing capacity? The Kona can tow 750kg unbraked and 1,300 braked. In every day life terms, this means you can easily tow a small trailer or loaded bike rack.
Tell me more about the Hyundai Kona EV’s boot space? The boot space is actually quite generous for a compact SUV. You can access up to 1,300 litres of space in the back with the seats folded down (466 litres with the seats up), as well as a bonus ‘frunk’ (front trunk) space of 27 litres.
What is the Hyundai Kona EV’s charging time? This varies based on what level charger you are using. If you’re plugged into a fast charger, you go from 10 to 80% in under 60 minutes. In comparison, if you’re charging from home, park up for the night as its likely to take 6-9 hours.
The most important question – what is the Hyundai Kona EV’s price? We have limited Kona stock priced at $39,888, or just $211 per week*. Book a test drive today to secure yours while stock lasts
A used Hyundai Ioniq EV is the perfect fit for a bigger family or driver that needs extra space or more premium features. There are a few key differences between the Kona and the Ioniq:
The Ioniq is larger, giving passengers more room and larger boot space
There’s no time to rest with the Ioniq’s upgraded charging technology. When plugged into a fast charger, you’ll be back up to 80% and on the road in just 18 minutes.
If power is on your ‘must have’ list, the Ioniq is for you with it’s AWD feature.
The Hyundai Ioniq EV range is lower than that of the Kona’s driving range; 200-311 kms per charge (depending on battery size)
What’s the difference between the Model Y and Model 3?
The main difference between the Y and 3 models is the shape and size. The Tesla model 3 range has a body style more like a sedan, whereas the Model Y is taller and shaped more like an SUV. Given the body shape of the Y, you can expect a very roomy backseat with plenty of leg and head room.
The Tesla Model Y boot space is a generous 800+ litre capacity, which expands up to 2,000 litres with the back seats down. This is compared to 600-650 litres for the Model 3. Both models have a smaller front trunk.
When looking at the vehicle’s interior, you’re in for the same high-tech set-up that Tesla is known for. Heated seats and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control and the large 15.4-inch touchscreen that is the brain of the whole car.
