I had a great experience at Portage Cars Takanini, thanks to the fantastic team, Shane and Fenelle. From the moment I walked in, Shane was welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help me find the perfect car. He took the time to understand my needs and made the whole process so smooth and stress-free.
Fenelle was also incredible. She helped finalize everything, explaining all the details clearly and making sure I felt comfortable with every step. The level of customer service was top-notch, and I could tell they both truly care about their customers.

The car means a great deal to me and I can tell they put good work in making sure I left the dealership with it looking fresh and ready to go for a trip down south.
If your looking for a second hand car do what I did and ring them up instead of wasting time getting scammed on facebook market place by someone that says its like new with 2 previous female drivers.

Craig was very attentive to my needs in purchasing a vehicle. He made time to allow me to view the car on a Public Holiday. He was friendly and approachable. As I was using a rental car, I was provided with a loan vehicle. There were no issues to tend to a couple of minor repairs.
The Hyundai was cleaned beautifully. The support staff were friendly and wanted to help. I would highly recommend Portage Cars as a place for anyone to have an easy road to buying a vehicle with no fuss.

I was undecided as to how best to obtain transalportation for my 3 month tour of the South Island. On Previous trips I oppted to rent vehicles. By chance I walked into Portage Cars in Christchurch and was created by Sagesh who asked me a few questions and quickly determined that a used 2010 Toyota Hydrid Prius would be ideal for my needs.
